Welcome to The Lane Academy! Our aim is to nurture and develop self confidence in children and young adults through a love of dance, music and performance.
Our team of teachers are here to ensure your experience at the Lane Academy is a magical one. Building a relationship with our pupils is important to us and through this we unlock the potential and creativity in our young dancers.
We offer first class tuition in the Performing Arts for children of all ages and both audition coaching and professional training for young adults.

If you have a child who loves to Dance, Act or Sing and you want them to be part of something special then the Lane Academy is the right choice for you! With us, they will learn in a nurturing, fun environment whilst developing their self confidence, fitness and general feeling of well being. Many of our children say their time spent in our lessons is the happiest time in their week.
All Lane Academy teachers are fully qualified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. All have enhanced DBS Disclosure, First Aid & Child Safe-Guarding training and full Public Liability. The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing is one of the largest Professional Dance Bodies in the World. Founded in 1904, it has been recognised as one of the leading Dance examination boards with a reputation of excellence.

My eldest started dancing with Lane Academy 12 years ago, with my youngest following suit. Both have really enjoyed all the classes from Dance, Musical Theatre and more recently Acro. They have attended many holiday sessions and annual shows, which has continued to embed the love for dance!
Sarah is one of the kindest, most patient teachers I’ve ever known. She always has a smile on her face and the children love her energy. The classes are made fun, whilst learning the disciplines of dance and movement to music, to enable them to progress through the required stages of examination, if they wished. I would recommend Lane Academy to anyone that has a child wishing to try dance or musical theatre. A very friendly club to be part of.
